Actually I just thought of a trick you can use to be able to do this.

We just added the command line "-epg" to directly launch ONLY the EPG

if you combine that with "-multi" to launch a Second WInTV window, you can use the EPG seperately from the Main APP.

"wintv7.exe -multi -epg"

(Works ok for me here)

I'm not sure why you would wan't to make it modal in the first place. I would normally want both the TV App and Guide open together all the time. (Which I used to be able to do with the Guide was a web page). Is there a reason for it being modal??

In any case, I would greatly prefer that is was NOT modal. Could we at least have the option??
