HD PVR IR Blaster on Sky HD
Have just installed the HD-PVR on a Sky HD box (component).
The Europe/Satellite/Sky setting for the IR blaster does not control the Sky box
.
Advice please

Re: HD PVR IR Blaster on Sky HD
I have a Sky HD box too (Original Thomson, though I believe that Sky+ remotes should work with it too, certainly that works with the slingbox)
Is there any hope of getting support for the RC6 based Sky+/Sky HD remote in a firmware upgrade?
Thanks

Re: HD PVR IR Blaster on Sky HD
Tony, I think we're out of luck. I've been trying to find out if there's any way and it seems that there isn't
Only option I've found is a £43 device from www.dusky-control.com. It's expensive, but I haven't found anything cheaper.

Re: HD PVR IR Blaster on Sky HD
I'm in the same boat, it seems I'm currently limited to recording shows already recorded using the Sky HD box. Was hoping to use this with Sage TV, anyone have any suggestions?

Post here or PM me if you need more info.

Might have to take a look at this method. How are you handling the PIN lock on the SkyHD movie channels - if you subscribe to them?

Which MCE IR Blaster are you using? Pinnacle?
I have a new Sky Box, and the Dusky option is not an option, as the box doesn't have an RF2 out. I really need to get some sort of Blaster working.
