Configuration:
Windows 7, 64 bits
WinTV v7.2 30108 (CD 2.5c)
Router dlink DIR-655
Antivirus: AVG Free Edition 2012

My local connection works perfectly with my android via wifi. But I can't make it work over the internet. I configure my router like it suppose to be (see atachment).

The extend.txt log shows this:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I disable my AVG and windows firewall i got this:

2012-05-22 18:14:14.635 [INFO] Web directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTV\Extend\web

But it doesn't work either.

I'm out of solution

My local connection works perfectly with my android via wifi. But I can't make it work over the internet. It's got to be one of the things you've already identified - either you've not configured your router correctly, or firewall software on your PC is getting in the way.

Since I disabled the windows-firewall and it's still doesn't work and my router configuration (wt2.jpg) is the same depicted here http://www.hauppauge.com/iphone_support/index.htm
I don't think the problem comes from these issues.

My windows firewall is already disabled so it cannot be the problem.
I enclosed my router configuration (wt2.jpg) and everythings is setup like the hauppauge guide.

If it's working in your local network, but not from the outside world then I dont know what else it could be. It's got to be either routing setup or firewall. If you're sure the firewall is disabled, then maybe focus on those router settings.

In my router setup I unchecked "Enable UPnP". I got this log:

2012-05-23 21:39:06.482 [INFO] Web directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTV\Extend\web
2012-05-23 21:39:06.482 [INFO] Startup delay: 0

2012-05-23 21:39:07.019 [INFO] IP Address: 192.168.3.198

And if I removed my port forwarding and check the box "Enable UPnP"
I got this log:
2012-05-23 22:13:01.487 [INFO] Web directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTV\Extend\web

In both case, still no succes to connect through the web...

You shouldn't use the Virtual Server setting of your router but go to the "Port Forwarding" tab below it. Then forward TCP port 7799 to 192.168.3.198

I already tried this option. I give up, thanks for your help.

show me a screenshot from that tab and I might be able to help.

also make sure to remove the virtual server option.

Did you remove the rule from virtual servers, so just this is present?

Have you tried removing all the rules and just turning on uPNP?

I believe the problem is you are trying to connect through your home wi fi you must try through a different source.

I got it I found the solution!
My situation was more complex than I though at the begining. Simply because I use a voip Linksys SPA2102 and it's also a router.
So I forward the port 7799 in this device and voila everything's work now.
Thanks for your help.

Glad you got it working!

So did you have two routers?

jeanlec

Kind of, yeah. My network looks like this:
Modem (Zhone 6211) -> VoIP (Linksys SPA2102) - > Router (Dlink DIR-655)
I didn't know the SPA2102 have a router function. That was the problem, I add to open
a port in that box too.
