WinTV 7 CD2.4d: codec priority

It seems this version WinTV 7 CD2.4d has high codec priority.

And this causes media players not to play media files: audio plays ok, but there is no video.

This codec priority is called "merit" in DirectShow terms.

*After i remove WinTV 7 from PC - media players plays ok files (mpg, ts, mp4 and so on)

I'm not aware of any changes to the codec merit in the 2.4d. Which decoder specifically? WinTV doesnt use the merit settings itself, since we explicitly create the decoders we're going to use, rather than relying on the system choosing them by merit.

Where can I find the TV v7.xCD 2.4d? download. seems that no support for my (2) winTv 7 4000 s are no longersupported on Hauppauge.de

I don't know of any changes that wouldn't allow 2 x HVR-4000. Please start a new thread and attach the extended logs (see my signature for the info)
