thank you, yes tried that file,

the driver install .exe comes up as not a valid win32 appl,

when i manaully point plug n play device to the inf file, it came up with something like could not find entry point for ntskrnl

prev when i rebooted after that, it blue screened (unplugging hauppauge allowed boot)

have re installed, think there was a problem with the ghost image i used prev

not sure which install file to use, have tried both (they installed succesfully) but both seem to give hardware errors when running win tv 2000,

Nova-T-USB2_1_26_27005_SIGNED

or

wdm341_22160

the

HcwDriverInstall gives not a valid win32 application

which version of windows are you running?

just use the drivers, forget about wintv, and use something separate like windows media center, gb-pvr, media portal etc, and see how you get on.

its windows 2000 sp4, just updated with latest from microsoft update,

sure will do, do you think try the hcw install program, or just manually point the plug n play dialog boxes to the hcw inf files
