Hi,
I previously had 2 Nova HD S2's working perfectly well in my HTPC and I have decided to put in a further 2 tuners. Only having 1 PCI slot free and 2 PCIe slots I decided to go for the HVR4400. When I installed them I tried to set them up in WinTV before moving onto the final goal, Windows Media Center.
I was unable to get both tuner cards working, the first would install and find the channels without incident but when I put the second in the first became "unavailable" to WinTV. I tried several combinations and managed to get both set up for channels but could only get one to work at a time.
So thought I'd go back to basics and did a fresh install of Windows 7 but I still have the same problem. All 4 tuners are identified in task manager and are properly set up and all four can be seen by Windows Media Center through the setup option, but it tells me there is no signal on the 2 HVR4400 cards.
I can get the HVR4400 working under WinTV so its obviously not a compatibility problem but only one at a time. It seems to me that there is some sort of conflict but nothing is reported.
