950Q in Linux - Anyone got it working?

I've run Ubuntu 9.10 on my desktop as a dual boot. I have installed MythTV from Repository, and when running the backend the application finds and identifies the 950Q.

But I can't get it working, otherwise. MythTV is not particularly user-friendly, not like our beloved WinTV!

Has anyone got a 950Q working, or has anyone got WinTV working with WINE?

Well, I was unable to get it to do anything other than access and turn on the device. I scanned for channels, using QAM, but it still tried to find OTA broadcast signals.
