Hi there
Will the HVR-1700 let you record a DVB-T stream from the tuner at the same time as recording from the A/V inputs using the MPEG-2 encoder?
I can't find any specific notes on what configurations are supported using the hybrid cards. Some people have suggested that the 1700 uses a 'tuner' for the AV input even though this is an unmodulated signal, and since the card only has one tuner you cannot simultaneously record DVB-T and AV?
Seems strange as the card doesn't need to 'tune' a composite or s-video signal :confused:
If it won't work, looks like I'll have to spend the extra on a 2200 and waste the second tuner on the AV input :|
