Hi,
I want to buy a capture card to play my PS2 console on my computer monitor. I currently own a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-USB2, but there is a 5 second lag between pressing a button on a controller and actually seeing something happen on screen. Obviously this is useless for gaming. So I'd like to know if you sell a product with s-video or component video inputs that displays the video in real time.

Thankyou

i believe they all have some degree of lag. less on the devices without hardware encoder around 1-2 seconds. with hardware encoder 4-5 seconds. none are realtime as such

Unfortunatly there may be a lag with any of the products (even the non hardware encoding ones) which is why we've never said it definatly will work. The lag can vary from computer to computer and can even change with different software setups so there is no hard and fast rule.

What we generally recomend is to split the output from your console so that you watch/play it on the TV and the computer just records the split signal which your PVR USB2 is perfectly suited for.
