You usually wouldnt have to do anything. There was support added a few weeks ago for a second hardware ID used by some of the newer HD-PVR devices, which maybe what you have. Support for that newer hardware ID is included with version 1.3, which is already complete, and will be on the web site for download in the next few days.

Haha, just noticed something by accident.
I was currently playing a game using 25fps input. No flickers! After that I switched to 60fps input. Flickers! It also flickers at 30fps input. Seems to be a framerate-iusse? One question: When I'm capturing in 30fps (PAL-60 called), I get much more flickers. They look like big blocks. That happens someties when capturing with 30fps. Is it possible to record in PAL-60 without having any issues? Using PAL-60 Videos in AviSynth-Scripts + MeGUI/VirtualDub will mess them up a lot. However 60fps work fine. =/ Is there some Driver-issue too? Seems to me that PAL-60 doesn't work properly (on any Drivers). |

New problem.
The audio of any video is out of sync with the audio. In the beginning of the video everything is just fine, but the audio gets more and more out of sync. If I'm using VLC, I don't have any audio desync issues at all. But I really don't like VLC, so I'm using Media Player Classic and FFDShow (both are at the latest versions). After encoding video and audio using AviSynth to H.264 and AAC, I still have that desync problem with any player, except VLC. If I'm loading the AviSynth-File in VirtualDub, I also don't notice any desync-problem. I guess it's an decoder-problem with FFDShow. So my question is how I can fix it with FFDShow and Media Player Classic? I don't want to use neither VLC nor that ArcSoft thingy... Thanks in advance! |

Do you capture your videos using .MP4 extension? That goes out of sync. You have to use a m2ts format.

I had an audio sync issue that was resolved by changing my source (xbox) from 5.1 Dolby to stereo. I don't know which applications support Dolby but if VLC does and the others don't then that would explain why the video sounds fine in VLC. |

I just got mine today and exactly the same thing is happening with the Wii too. Tried 2.0 with old and new drivers but flicker and artifacts remain in preview and final video

Software CD 2.0 works, but PAL-60 with 480p (even 480i)-Input doesn't work with these Drivers. On the latest Drivers PAL-60 works maybe sometimes, but only with flickers too... Any ideas? Will Hauppauge release finally new Drivers which will fix that? Or maybe a WinTV v7 which will work with my HD PVR? Last edited by Prøjectile; 09-02-2010 at 08:47 PM. |
